    Make sure that your website is always cross platform compatible, make sure its responsive for all device sizes, perhaps a good idea is to build for mobile-first. Using Google Analytics you can learn about your audience and what platforms they engage with most.

    Always remember to keep your codebase up to date. Things change so often you want to beable to respond quickly.

    Make sure all is up to date also means that your security needs to be top form, make sure you have an SSL certificate on your website to build trust amongst your users.
  6. Searchable
    There a millions of websites out there, so its important to be search engine optimized. Make sure your website is indexed and users are able to find your website easily on Google.
  7. Website Speed
    Nobody likes a slow website, a website that is slower that 2 seconds when loading can be penalized by your users and robots. You can use tools such as GTMetrix, Pingdom and WebPageTest to check the speed of your site.
